With partners and volunteers, we restore wetlands across the Bay, working with partners and volunteers to bring back nature that supports wildlife, protects communities, and connects people with the shoreline.

We connect people across the Bay Area through hands-on learning, volunteering, community conversations, and partnerships, so more people understand what’s at stake and take action together.

A History of Impact

In 1961, three citizen activists, Sylvia McLaughlin, Kay Kerr, and Esther Gulick, were alarmed by the years of pollution and destruction to their beloved Bay.
