Become A Fellow
Join our team in the office or in the field. Gain valuable insight into a nonprofit-sector career, hands-on experience, and individual mentorship.
Our fellows are an integral part of our Bay-saving team. They provide critical support in our office and help our wetland restoration projects thrive along the shoreline. Candidates are selected on a variety of criteria including knowledge, experience, and enthusiasm for San Francisco Bay. In addition to their job duties, fellows participate in field-planting days, all-staff meetings, and staff appreciation events. These are paid contract positions at $20 per hour. Fellows must commit to working 20 hours a week throughout each 6-12 month session.
Save The Bay accepts applications on a rolling basis determined by department and reserves the right to fill fellowship positions before the application deadline passes. Visit our jobs page for openings and learn more about each position below.
