$25Get ready to roll up your sleeves and discover the art of cyanotype printing while connecting with California native plants crucial to Save The Bay’s innovative wetland restoration work.
Cyanotype is a unique photographic printing process that harnesses the power of the sun to produce a cyan-blue print. Join Save The Bay for this workshop guided by artist Charlotte Beck and Save The Bay’s Native Plant Nursery Manager, Millie Calzada. This event will be held at our Oakland nursery, where native plants are grown and cared for before outplanting at various restoration sites around the Bay for tidal marsh restoration.
Choose between two sessions: the first session from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM or the second session from 1:00 PM-3:00 PM. This workshop is suitable for participants ages 6 and up. Space is limited, so purchase your ticket early!
Come celebrate native plants with us and create your own cyanotype prints capturing the beauty of the Bay. Each participant will have the chance to take home two prints. Don’t miss this day of discovery, inspiration, and deeper connection to the natural world around us!
