Join Save The Bay for a day of programming that brings you closer to the natural beauty of San Francisco Bay. Bay Day is a perfect opportunity to connect with your community, learn about local ecology, and discover how we can all contribute to a clean and healthy San Francisco Bay. Don’t miss this chance to celebrate and protect the Bay together!

FULL: Morning Bird Walk | 10 AM – 12 PM
Explore the rich birdlife of the Baylands, from rare Ridgway’s Rails to migrating shorebirds. No experience necessary—binoculars provided!

Morning QTPOC Native Plant Nursery Program | 10 AM – 12 PM
A special volunteer program for LGBTQ+ and BIPOC communities to help grow native plants that support Bay restoration efforts.

Afternoon Horizontal Levee Tour | 12:30 PM – 2:30 PM
Discover how nature-based solutions, like horizontal levees, protect shorelines and promote biodiversity. Join us for a tour of our upcoming project site.

Afternoon Native Plant Nursery Program | 12:30 PM – 2:30 PM
Get your hands dirty in our nursery and learn about the plants that help sustain the unique ecosystems of the Bay.
